What is Navaratri?
Navaratri is a festival dedicated to the Divine Feminine, most often associated with the Goddess Durga. This festival lasts for nine days and nights, during which, various forms of the Divine Mother are celebrated.
Navaratri celebrates the various incarnations of the Divine Feminine and Her victories over terrible demons. These demons represent darker forces that plague people's lives, hearts, and minds and have powerful negative influences that create suffering.
This festival reminds us of our ability to invoke the strength of the Divine Feminine to triumph over our inner difficulties and fears.
